MIA: an AI marketing agent that monitors your brand and prepares work for approval

MIA is the AI marketing agent from AMBR. It monitors six sources (brand, competitors, markets, social channels, news and AI search) and turns the signals into marketing intelligence, structured work and approved actions. AMBR reports more than 1,250 automated workflows and an average 85% cut in turnaround time within four months of rollout inside its own marketing businesses, iClick and CMRS.

MIA is an AI system. Its outputs can be wrong. It prepares marketing work for approval; review each output before it is published or acted on.

Measured results inside AMBR marketing businesses

AMBR has published three figures about MIA. All three are the company's own numbers about work inside its own marketing businesses. They are shown as published, with the source under each one.

  • 1,250+

Automated workflows run by MIA. AMBR's wording is “more than 1,250 automated workflows”.

    Source: AMBR rebrand release,

  • 85%

Average cut in turnaround time. AMBR's wording is “cutting turnaround times by an average of 85% within four months of rollout”.

    Source: AMBR rebrand release,

  • 100+

Enterprise customers. AMBR says MIA “already runs a substantial share of day-to-day campaign operations for more than a hundred enterprise customers”.

Source: AMBR second-quarter 2026 results release

How to read these figures

These are AMBR's own figures and have not been independently verified. The baseline behind the 85% average, the period measured and the definition of a workflow are not published. AMBR says MIA was “Developed and proven within AMBR's wholly-owned marketing businesses, iClick and CMRS” and describes it as “Already commercially tested across AMBR's marketing businesses”. A team with other channels, other volumes and other people may see different numbers.

This page names no customers and carries no testimonials. The rebrand announcement of 31 August 2026 is in the dated list of AMBR company announcements on the home page.

What MIA monitors

AMBR calls MIA “Your AI agent for marketing” and lists six things it monitors: “a user's brand, competitors, markets, social channels, news, and AI search”. The rows beside this text are those six items, each with a plain-language note that is ours, not AMBR's wording. What sits behind each item, such as which networks or which search engines, is not published.

Brand and competitors

The first three items are the brand, its competitors and its markets. The idea behind AI brand monitoring is that software reads the signals and points out which ones matter, so that nobody has to read every mention. AMBR has not published how many competitors or markets one account can track, or how often the data refreshes.

Social channels and news

MIA monitors social channels and news. The live site does not name the networks or publications covered, or the languages supported. Ask for that list early. AI social media monitoring is only useful if it covers the channels your customers use, and coverage differs widely from one product to the next.

AI search

AI search monitoring checks whether and how a brand appears in AI-generated answers: the summaries and chat replies that assistants and search engines now write in response to a question. A ranking report shows a position in a list. AI search visibility is about something else: whether the brand is mentioned or cited at all, and what is said about it. The work of improving that is called generative engine optimisation (spelled optimization in the United States), and the glossary has agentic marketing and generative engine optimisation defined.

AMBR has not published which assistants or search engines MIA checks, or how often. Nothing on this page claims that MIA changes where a brand ranks or how often it is cited.

From signal to approved action

AMBR sums up what MIA produces in three phrases: “marketing intelligence, structured work, and approved actions”. The five steps below put those phrases in order. Step 4 describes the intended design. The detail of the other steps is not published, so confirm it with the MIA team.

1. Monitor

MIA watches the six sources AMBR lists: your brand, competitors, markets, social channels, news and AI search. Of the five steps, this is the one AMBR describes most plainly.

2. Summarise

Raw signals become what AMBR calls marketing intelligence. Read plainly, that is an account of what changed and why it may matter to the brand, not a feed that someone has to read from top to bottom.

3. Draft the work

A finding becomes structured work, AMBR's second phrase. In a marketing team that usually means a brief, a draft or a task list. The live site does not list the formats MIA produces.

4. A person approves

AMBR's third phrase is approved actions. The intended design is that someone on your team reviews the prepared work and decides whether it goes ahead. AMBR has not published which actions need that approval or who can give it.

5. Act and log

An approved action is carried out, and a record of what was done should be kept. Whether MIA carries out the action itself or hands it to another tool, and what its log records, is not published.

AMBR's second-quarter 2026 results release says MIA “already runs a substantial share of day-to-day campaign operations”. It does not say which of those operations run without a person's sign-off, so the useful question for a buyer is where the approval line sits. The security page explains how AMBR agents are controlled and reviewed, and the guide on how AI agents work, explained for finance walks through the same monitor, prepare and approve pattern where money is involved.

Modules: MIA Insight, MIA Cowork and MIA IQ

The product runs on its own site, titled “MIA — Agentic Marketing Platform”. That site names three modules: MIA Insight, MIA Cowork and MIA IQ. The lines beside this text say only what each name suggests, because AMBR's main site does not describe the modules.

For what each module does today, go to the MIA agentic marketing platform at mia.ambr.io.

MIA Insight
By its name, the monitoring and intelligence side of MIA.
MIA Cowork
By its name, where the agent and the marketing team work on tasks together.
MIA IQ
The name alone does not say what this module covers; the product site is the reference.

Plans, pricing and limits

No price, plan or usage limit for MIA is published on www.ambr.io. The table records that line by line and lists what to ask instead.

Data handling and approvals

AMBR describes what MIA produces as “approved actions”. It has not published which actions need a person's approval, which data MIA stores or whether customer data is used to train models. Settle these questions before MIA is connected to a live channel or a budget:

  • Does publishing content need a person's approval every time?
  • Does spending or moving a media budget need approval, and is there a cap?
  • Do outbound messages, such as replies and emails, need approval?
  • Who can approve, and is every approval and action logged?
  • Which data does MIA store, where and for how long?
  • Is customer data used to train models?

MIA compared with a marketing automation suite and a monitoring tool

An AI agent for marketing sits between two older kinds of software. The MIA column uses only what AMBR has published. The other two columns describe each category in general, not a named product, and all three have a drawback in the last row.

MIA, a marketing automation suite and a monitoring tool cells say yes or no in words; the last row lists the main drawback of each
QuestionMIAMarketing automation suiteMonitoring tool
What does it do?Monitors six sources and prepares marketing work for approval.Runs campaigns and customer journeys from rules a team has built.Collects mentions and trends and shows them on dashboards and in alerts.
Does it prepare the work itself?yes, as structured workno, it runs what the team builtno, it reports
Who decides what happens next? The agent prepares and a person reviews; which actions need approval is not published. The team, in advance, when it writes the rules. The team, each time.
Is AI search a listed source?yesvaries by productvaries by product

Main drawbackThe figures come from the vendor's own businesses, pricing is not public, and an agent needs review time from a person.Rules have to be built and kept up to date, and the suite does not notice what it was not told to watch. It tells you what happened and leaves all of the follow-up work to the team.

MIA FAQ

What is an AI marketing agent?

An AI marketing agent is software that watches marketing signals, works out what they mean and prepares the next piece of work, such as a summary, a brief or a draft, for a person to review. A monitoring tool only reports, and an automation suite only runs rules a team has already written. MIA is the AI marketing agent from AMBR.

Does MIA publish content or spend budget on its own?

AMBR has not published that. Its agents page says MIA turns signals into “marketing intelligence, structured work, and approved actions”, and its second-quarter 2026 results release says MIA “already runs a substantial share of day-to-day campaign operations”. Which actions need a person's approval before they are published or run is not stated, so ask before you connect a channel or a budget.

Which channels does MIA monitor?

MIA monitors six sources, as AMBR lists them: a user's brand, competitors, markets, social channels, news and AI search. The live site does not name the individual social networks, news sources or AI search engines covered, or the languages supported. Ask the MIA team for the current list and check it against the channels your customers use.

Does MIA track visibility in AI search?

Yes. AI search is one of the six sources AMBR lists for MIA. Monitoring AI search means checking whether and how a brand appears in AI-generated answers. AMBR has not published which assistants or search engines are checked, how often, or how results are reported. This page makes no claim that MIA changes how often a brand is cited.

How is MIA priced?

No price for MIA is published on www.ambr.io. The site has no pricing page, plan list or usage limits, and this page was last checked on 11 October 2026. For a quote, plan details and onboarding terms, use the MIA product site at mia.ambr.io or contact the AMBR team.
