From Amber Premium to AMBR

AMBR was called Amber Premium. On 31 August 2026 the company announced the new name and said it was now dedicated to building specialised AI agents for finance, enterprise and growth. The same release opened Ambre by invitation, with verified clients of Amber Premium receiving first access.

The listed company and its ticker did not change. The old name is also still in use at entity level, as the two register entries in the list show.

One sentence describes the company everywhere on this site. It comes from the second-quarter 2026 results release: AMBR is “a technology company that builds specialized AI agents for high-value, high-stakes use cases”. Any description written before 31 August 2026 refers to Amber Premium and predates the change.

Two agents are available today: Ambre, the AI agent for personal finance, which includes the AI portfolio tracker in Ambre, and MIA, the AI marketing agent. The AMBR home page sets out what each one does, what it does not do and who executes.

Dubai and Singapore

Amber Premium FZE is licensed by Dubai's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) for Broker-Dealer Services, Management and Investment Services and Lending and Borrowing Services (VASP Licence VL/26/03/003, issued 2 April 2026). Amber Premium FZE is permitted to serve Institutional Investors and Qualified Investors. The company announced the licence on 27 April 2026; the register gives 2 April 2026 as the issue date.

Sparrow Tech Private Limited, trading as Amber Premium Singapore, is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a Major Payment Institution for digital payment token services. The directory entry shows the licence type and the activity but no licence number. This website does not promote the digital payment token services of Sparrow Tech Private Limited.

Hong Kong, and what the licences do not cover

Whalefin Markets Limited is a virtual asset trading platform applicant that is deemed to be licensed under Schedule 3G of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance. It is not licensed by the SFC. An interview reposted on the AMBR site says Amber International applied through this company and that the service has not launched. No Hong Kong service is described on this site.

The VARA register entry does not list Advisory Services, Custody Services or Exchange Services. The licences cover the entities' own services and do not make Ambre or MIA a licensed adviser. The page on licences and regulatory status by entity holds the full record, one section per entity.

Leadership

The company's About page lists six leadership roles. This page shows the roles and leaves each name out until the owner supplies it with a biography and a link that verifies it.

  • Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officername and biography to be added
  • Presidentname and biography to be added
  • Chief Operating Officername and biography to be added
  • Co-Chief Financial Officerfirst of two posts; name and biography to be added
  • Co-Chief Financial Officersecond of two posts; name and biography to be added

The people who hold these roles are named on the company's current About page, which publishes no biographies. Names, biographies, dated career history and verification links will be added here once the owner supplies them.

How AMBR makes money

The company's results releases report total revenue and, within it, a line called agentic revenue. In the second quarter of 2026 total revenue was US$13.9 million, of which agentic revenue was US$7.4 million. Both figures are unaudited.

Three lines of business can be read from what the company has published:

  • MIA. The company says MIA runs a substantial share of day-to-day campaign operations for more than a hundred enterprise customers. MIA was developed inside AMBR's wholly-owned marketing businesses, iClick and CMRS.
  • Regulated services. The two licensed entities serve their own clients under the licences in the table above. For Amber Premium FZE that means Broker-Dealer Services, Management and Investment Services and Lending and Borrowing Services for Institutional Investors and Qualified Investors.
  • Ambre. Ambre is offered by invitation. No price is published for it, so whether it earns revenue yet is not stated.

Five facts about how AMBR is paid are not published, and they are listed beside this text. Until they are, this page does not describe them.

Security and assurance

The company site publishes no security certification, audit report, insurance statement or penetration-test summary. This page therefore claims none. When one exists it will be listed here with its issuer, its scope and its dates.

The security page covers agent security and controls in six dated sections: the model, data access, approvals, testing, incidents and status. It marks every gap in the same way as this page does.

Governance and reporting

How to read these figures

Past results say nothing about future results, and nothing on this page is an invitation to buy or sell the company's shares.

Counts of verified users are left out because the two releases that give one do not agree.

The full-year 2024 figure is the comparison printed in the full-year 2025 release.
